Jake is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and certified Medical Massage Therapist (MMT). He earned his credentials through an intensive program at Blue Heron Academy in Grand Rapids, gaining hands-on experience in their massage clinic. This specialized training allows him to utilize advanced therapeutic and medical massage techniques to address specific physical conditions, promote recovery, and manage pain. As a lifelong mover, Jake’s “office” has often been a soccer field, the trail, or a yoga mat. His proudest athletic achievement was crossing the finish line of a 50-mile ultramarathon—an experience that deepened his respect for the body’s resilience and the vital role of recovery. He uses this firsthand perspective to help his clients—from elite athletes to weekend warriors—recover faster and perform better. When he isn’t in the clinic, Jake is likely outdoors with his camera, trail running, practicing yoga, or refueling at a local coffee shop.
