Iona is a graduate from Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. Iona believes in guiding her clients through their natural healing process. She recognizes the importance of health and vitality in her own life and that of others and feels the best way to achieving optimum health and performance is through balance and listening and responding to the body’s needs in a healthy and consistent way. When developing massage therapy care she will use her knowledge to educate her clients on what is happening with their bodies so that they can ultimately be in charge of the healing process and prolong the benefits of the massage therapy sessions that she provides. Iona provides therapeutic massage therapy to her patients, which is recognizing the needs of each person and tailoring each treatment to meet those specific needs. Treatments may include myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue techniques, gentle joint mobilizations, and Swedish massage techniques. She genuinely enjoys working with her clients at any stage of their life’s journey. In her spare time, you can find Iona hiking, cycling and enjoying the Okanagan!
