Emma brings a level of athletic experience that is rare among rehabilitation professionals. She earned a full NCAA Division I athletic scholarship to Indiana University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology while competing as a high jumper. She went on to represent Canada at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto and became the 2019 Canadian National Champion in High Jump. Today, Emma continues to coach with the Okanagan Athletics Club, allowing her to stay actively involved in high-performance athletics, movement mechanics, and injury prevention. Her background as both an elite athlete and coach gives her a unique understanding of how the body performs, adapts, and recovers. She appreciates the physical and mental challenges of rehabilitation and enjoys helping patients at every level—from competitive athletes pursuing peak performance to individuals simply wanting to walk, work, and live without pain.
