Gina is a mother of two and a physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic health. She enjoys working with people during their pregnancies to prepare for labour and delivery, and also postpartum to help with recovery and safe return to activity. Gina is experienced in treating orthopaedic concerns including low back and pelvic girdle pain (sacroiliac joint, pubic bone and tailbone pain), abdominal separation, and pelvic health issues such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor pain. Gina graduated from Pacific University in Oregon, USA with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2003. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary (1999). She is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) and is certified in both Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and Anatomical Acupuncture. Gina has taken many post-graduate courses in orthopaedics and pelvic health. She has also completed her Yoga Therapist and Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga teacher training certifications and enjoys integrating yoga into her practice and workshops. Outside the clinic, Gina enjoys spending time with her family, and being active outdoors: running, biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
