Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Brito is a proud alumnus of Central High School. He earned a degree in Kinesiology Exercise Science from the University of Rhode Island before pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Science (formerly New York Chiropractic College), where he became a member of the prestigious Chi Omega Honor Society. As a first generation son to Dominican and Cuban parents, Dr. Brito prides himself on being the first Afro-Latino owned chiropractic clinic in Rhode Island providing bilingual services directly to his community. Dr. Brito’s interest in noninvasive alternatives to recovery and rehabilitation led him to work alongside Team USA’s Winter Olympic team in Lake Placid as a Sports Medicine Intern in preparation for the 2018 Winter Olympics. His priority as a chiropractor is to help his patients achieve full strength and prevent musculoskeletal injuries through the promotion and encouragement of preventative care. Dr. Brito offers a range of chiropractic treatment techniques including Flexion Distraction, Pin and Stretch, Diversified, Drop Table, Activator, Dry Needling, Therapeutic Kinesiology Taping, and cupping, ensuring that his patients receive comprehensive and personalized treatment plan.
At this visit, the patient will receive their initial examination, Soft tissue work, which can include myofascial release, cupping, stretch therapy, dry needling, chiropractic adjustments if necessary.
