Dr. Rick Bhim, BSc, MD (IMG), ND, discovered the profound impact of Naturopathic Medicine upon his return to his hometown of Toronto, following the completion of his conventional medical degree in Chicago. His experience in various hospitals across the Greater Chicago area provided invaluable insights, yet it was the principles and practices of Naturopathic Medicine that truly resonated with him. In Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Bhim found the missing piece of the puzzlethe deep connections with patients that he had long sought in his healthcare journey. The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) became the catalyst for this realization, where he delved into holistic care as a Clinical Resident and, notably, as CCNMs first Oncology Focused Resident. It was here that he mastered the art of integrating natural therapies with conventional treatments, collaborating closely with esteemed Medical Doctors from institutions like Sunnybrook, Markham Stouffville, and the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake hospitals. Driven by an unwavering commitment to education and patient well-being, Dr. Bhim assumes the role of a passionate educator at CCNM, nurturing the next generation of naturopaths while staying abreast of the latest advancements. His extensive hospital background, collaborating seamlessly with medical colleagues to integrate natural and pharmaceutical therapies, coupled with his private practice experience, uniquely positions him as a comprehensive and empathetic Naturopathic Doctor and educator. For all New Patients who would like to begin care at our clinic. This appointment will be conducted in person.Your appointment will be conducted by a senior student intern who is supervised by a licensed naturopathic doctor. During the appointment the intern will review your health goals and health history then if possible and the supervisor agrees they will make preliminary treatment suggestions. While we aim for this treatments are not guaranteed at the first appointment. This appointment is not assigned to a specific intern, it is only linked to the supervising ND.
