Luca Sbrizzi is a former principal dancer with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, where he performed at the highest level for 15 years. Throughout his career, Luca explored various methods to recover from injuries, prevent them, and sustain peak performance. Of all the techniques he tried, massage therapy proved to be the most effective—helping him move better, feel stronger, and perform with confidence. Motivated by his own transformative experiences, Luca pursued a new path in massage therapy after retiring from the ballet world. He graduated from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2013 and began working with fellow dancers to support their physical well-being. In August 2020, he joined Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as its on-site Massage Therapist, bringing his unique perspective as a former professional athlete to the role. Today, Luca specializes in a personalized approach to therapeutic massage, blending Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular techniques. Whether you’re an athlete striving for optimal performance, a busy parent in need of relief, or a professional battling daily stress, Luca’s expertise helps restore balance, alleviate tension, and rejuvenate both body and mind.
