Laura Cortes LMT (Lau) (she/they) graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science and is continuing her studies in acupuncture, expanding her integrative approach to healing. With over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine, she developed a deep understanding of nonverbal communication, attentive observation, and compassionate care. Rooted in her Mexican-American heritage and influenced by traditional healing practices, Lau brings a culturally informed perspective to bodywork. Her approach blends therapeutic massage, Myofascial work, Perinatal massage, Swedish techniques, Reflexology, Integrated east/ west massage and Tui Na inspired therapies to provide trauma-informed client centered care. She is dedicated to creating a space where clients feel seen, safe, and supported through thoughtful communication, cultural awareness, and individualized treatment. Fluent in English and Spanish, with conversational knowledge of American Sign Language, she strives to make care accessible and welcoming to diverse communities.
