After many years in banking, marketing, sales, and education, it was time for me to pursue a different passion. I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University and opened Vita Nova Therapeutic Massage in December 2020. In addition to Relaxation and Therapeutic Massage, I am also certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. I believe that no two sessions are ever the same. I look forward to hearing how my clients have been feeling, what they've been doing since I last saw them. This helps me tailor each session to each client specifically for that day. Massage Therapy may not be my first career, but it has been my "quiet" dream for many years and I can't wait to share it with all of you.No matter where you are in your body therapy journey, my goal is to help you feel better, move better, and live better!
Therapeutic/Medical massage incorporates many techniques to address muscle and skeletal issues diagnosed by a doctor. The massage techniques used tend to be slower and more specific than Relaxation Massage in order to get down into the deeper muscle layers and may also be referred to as "Deep Tissue Massage." Therapeutic/Medical massage sessions may also incorporate other specialty techniques such as Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy.
