Tameka comes to massage therapy after over a decade as an educator working in New York City public schools. She holds a BFA. in Drama from New York University and is a graduate of Swedish Institute where she studied massage therapy. As a licensed massage therapist she has over seven years of experience supporting clients through physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed, individualized care, with a deep commitment to creating safe, nurturing spaces where clients can soften, restore, and reconnect to their bodies. Tameka has practiced in therapeutic environments and integrative wellness centers, where she provided customized sessions focused on relaxation, pain relief, and whole-body restoration. She specializes in deep tissue, Swedish, dynamic stretching and prenatal massage, blending technical skill with intuitive presence. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual, honoring both the physical body and the deeper emotional landscape it carries. Her passion lies especially in supporting people throughout the childbearing cycle—from fertility and pregnancy to postpartum and beyond. Tameka has expanded her path as a birth worker and recently completed a full spectrum doula training with Ancient Song Inc. She also brings additional training in abdominal therapy, yoga, qi gong, womb wellness, Reiki, and spiritual herbalism, offering a holistic approach to perinatal and women’s health. Through her work, Tameka weaves together clinical expertise, nurturing touch, and a reverence for the body’s innate wisdom.
