Matt's journey into the healing arts began in 2010 with two hundred hours of yoga teacher training and three levels of Reiki attunement, and has culminated in the graduation from Healing Mountain Massage as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist. His passion for learning and decoding the mysteries of how our body,mind, and soul interact with the world around us has developed into a profoundly intuitive healing practice.Comevisit him in his newly opened office, Simons Somatics and Massage, at Church & State, where he will be offering table chair massage with integrated structural, myofascial, cranial sacral, and lymphatic modalities as well as Rieki.
Slow and connective integrated flow inspired by Lomi Lomi, Abhyanga, and Myofascial Release, using compressive effleurage and other swedish techniques as well as tissue unwinding, cranial sacral massage, lymphatic massage, and reflexology create a custom experience designed to fully engaging your parasympathetic nervous system relaxing mind and body. Areas of focus can be requested, but the overarching goal is to rest and heal. This treatment can be light, medium, or firm pressure.
