Maura is from St. John’s, NL, and completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2023. She then went on to Dalhousie University, where she earned her Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2025, further strengthening her clinical foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation. Her passion for movement began early. Growing up heavily involved in gymnastics and cheerleading, Maura developed a strong appreciation for the mechanics of movement and the profound benefits of physical activity. This early interest naturally evolved into a career focused on helping others restore function, confidence, and performance. Maura has completed Level 1 and Level 2 Concussion Management Workshops, as well as Introductory and Advanced Vestibular Rehabilitation training. Her specialized education equips her to effectively assess and treat individuals experiencing dizziness, balance disorders, and post-concussion symptoms. She is eager to apply her knowledge and clinical training in a collaborative, patient-centered environment—working alongside individuals to develop tailored treatment plans and support them in achieving meaningful recovery.
