Elena is a Registered Kinesiologist with a Bachelor of Kinesiology specializing in Exercise Science from Capilano University. Born and raised in Honduras, Elena developed her passion for movement and human performance through her background in tennis, which inspired her to pursue a career in kinesiology. Elena takes a client-centred approach to rehabilitation and exercise, creating individualized programs based on each person's goals, abilities, and needs. She has a particular interest in healthy aging, injury prevention, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and cardiovascular health. Her clinical experience includes exercise assessment, exercise prescription, rehabilitation support, and working with individuals managing cardiovascular and musculoskeletal conditions. Outside of the clinic, Elena enjoys tennis, staying active, and exploring the outdoors. She is passionate about lifelong learning and continuing to grow her knowledge in rehabilitation, pain management, and cardiovascular health.
