Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) Certified in Acupuncture (CAFCI) Certified in Dry Needling (Acupuncture Canada) Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) Kaitlyn graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2016 with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She has taken numerous post-graduate courses including Level 2 of the Orthopedic Division curriculum, Clinical Management of the Fitness Athlete: Pregnancy and Postpartum as well as multiple pelvic health related courses. Kaitlyn is also certified in acupuncture and dry needling. From a young age Kaitlyn has been involved in a variety of recreational and competitive sports. Paired with exposure to the challenges and successes of physical disabilities and injuries–no other profession would satisfy her love of people and desire to help. As a principle, Kaitlyn’s goal is to help her patients improve their quality and enjoyment of life–understanding that each individual has a unique set of goals to attain this. She enjoys using exercise, education, dry needling, acupuncture and manual therapy to help her patients attain their goals. Kaitlyn comes from a varied athletic background that includes triathlon, running, ultimate frisbee and rowing. She now dedicates her athletic endeavours to weightlifting and CrossFit primarily but is always excited to try something new! Outside of the clinic, Kaitlyn can be found doing CrossFit, walking her two pups and spending time with her young daughter and husband.
