My name is Misty Jensen, and I am a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (NC License #17254) and the dedicated owner of Wildflowers Massage Therapy in Maiden, NC. Originally from Ohio, I relocated to North Carolina with my family in 2017. I earned my certificate in Sports and Medical Massage Therapy from the Northcoast Medical Training Academy in Kent, Ohio, in 2015. My specialized training includes techniques for piriformis and sciatica pain relief, intra-oral neuromuscular therapy for TMJ, deep tissue massage, traditional Swedish relaxation, manual lymphatic drainage, sinus drainage therapy and pregnancy massage. I am deeply passionate about the healing and nurturing qualities of massage therapy. I believe that massage not only supports the body's natural healing processes but also plays a vital role in overall health and well-being. My goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their journey toward improved health and wellness. Outside of my work at Wildflowers Massage Therapy, I enjoy spending time homesteading, gardening, beekeeping, exploring the mountains, and creating meaningful moments with my family.
Massage
A traditional Swedish full body massage that will calm and relax the entire body in a slow Sunday-paced style that uses gentle pressure to calm the nervous system, ease anxiety, promote relaxation and overall well being. Includes: hot towels infused with essential oils and restful aromatherapies.
Lymphatic Drainage
A gentle, rhythmic technique that supports the body's natural lymph flow to reduce swelling, promote healing, and boost immunity. Ideal for post-surgery recovery, cancer care, or deep relaxation. Sessions are tailored to your specific needs.
