Sofy completed both her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. She started her career working in private clinics in Vancouver, where she focused on specializing in hand therapy and other musculoskeletal injuries. Since then, she has developed a special interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and has taken many courses to advance her education. Sofy also enjoys working with the pediatric population. She spent some time working in both the inpatient surgical unit and outpatient clinic at BC Children’s Hospital. Since moving to Penticton in 2023, she has been working at the hospital and the urgent primary care centre. Her treatment philosophy includes listening to each person’s specific needs and providing an empathetic approach to physiotherapy. She ensures her clients have the most up-to-date practice through education, movement, and manual therapy. Outside the clinic, Sofy enjoys staying active through sports and running. She is also an artist and spends some of her free time painting.
