Dr. Travis McCormack was born and raised in Bancroft, Ontario prior to moving to Oshawa, where he graduated from Ontario Tech University with an Honors Bachelor of Health Science (Kinesiology) degree, with a specialization in Rehabilitation. He then moved to Toronto where he graduated Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic. From there he traveled to Collingwood, Ontario and worked in a multidisciplinary practice alongside fellow chiropractors, massage therapists, osteopaths, and physicians. Dr. Travis joined McAllister Health in 2024 to be part of a team that is dedicated to being a leader in the overall health and wellness of the Oshawa and Durham community. Dr. Travis has treated a wide range of patients, from athletes and working professionals, to children and retirees. He is trained in the treatment of a variety of muscular, skeletal, and neurological conditions, and is always searching for new and improved approaches to ensure his patient’s get the best possible care. Dr. Travis brings with him a patient-centred approach, with a focus on getting to the root of the problem, and is passionate about working with each patient to help them achieve their health goals. When not treating patients, Travis enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and ATVing. Travis enjoys being involved with sports in pretty much every aspect, from participating himself, to watching, coaching, and providing sideline treatment. He has played hockey, golf, baseball, volleyball, football, and a variety of other sports, and can often be found at the local gym or looking for his ball on the golf course.
