Hello! I am Tammy Knopf L.Ac. I was a long time resident of Kill Devil Hills and am delighted to return to serve the Outer Banks community through the practice of Chinese Medicine. In 2016 I left my career as a flight attendant to pursue my desire to study Acupuncture. I completed the four-year master’s program at Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in 2020 and then became NC board certified. I practiced at Stillpoint Acupuncture for four years while my children finished school in Greensboro, NC. My vision was always to return to the Outer Banks, and I am elated to be bringing that vision to life. In my practice at Yin Wood Acupuncture, I take time to listen and understand each person’s unique story and symptoms. It is through this process that I form a plan for treatment, and I utilize acupuncture as well as other Chinese medicine modalities to assist you in your healing. A new patient appointment is the first appointment you have with us. We will take some time in order to discuss your chief concerns, your medical history and your general health information. This will help us best diagnose your issue. We will then continue with an acupuncture treatment.
