Dr.Barbara uses her extensive training in Acupuncture, Herbology, Ayurveda, Massage, Nutrition, and Yoga to provide complete healthcare that is both preventive and therapeutic of most clinical conditions. She obtained her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and also served an internship in China at the Chengdu Traditional Medicine Hospital, while attending classes at the Traditional Chinese Medicine University in the Spring of 2011. In 2016, she completed a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, furthering her studies in women’s reproductive health, internal medicine and sports injuries. Prior to that, she studied Clinical Nutrition and Ayurveda at the Kerala Ayurveda Academy (2006). Her direct yet gentle approach puts the power back in you, the patient, so you can be confident in your own ability to improve your health given the right guidance and treatment.
