Matthew Waid first fell in love with music as youngster and continues to play music professionally. His passion for making music on his double bass led him to pursue a career in massage therapy. He saw many similarities between the two such as feeling the vibrations of the bass strings and locating trigger points on the body required him to have a similar level of sensitivity in his touch. After being encouraged by friends and family to pursue massage therapy, he completed his degree in 2008. He was trained at Carolina Bodywork Institute in Greenville, SC.
The 60-min massage allows the therapist enough time to work on the entire body but can also be used for target specific areas of concern if needed. Many prefer the 60 min massage as much can be accomplished in an hour.
