Dr. Andrew Cregg was born and raised here in Oshawa and became heavily involved in sports from a young age. His passion for athletics led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Wilfrid Laurier University where he was an active member of the varsity men’s rugby program. After sustaining a significant injury and visiting a chiropractor for the first time, he fell in love with the profession and decided to pursue a career in rehabilitation. He went on to obtain his Master’s in Health Science from Ontario Tech University in the field of biomechanics and ergonomics and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Cregg also works as a sessional lecturer at Ontario Tech University in the Faculty of Health Sciences, and as a Timesheet Clinician at CMCC where he supervises fourth year chiropractic students. Previously, Dr. Cregg worked with the Chinese Women’s Olympic Hockey Program as a performance coach and rehabilitation expert. This unique role allowed him to travel the world and contribute towards the health and athletic development of his athletes while collaborating with strength coaches, dieticians and an international health care team. He has also worked as a sideline trainer for multiple youth hockey programs in Toronto and has helped with pre-season physiology testing with the Chicago Blackhawks and Rockford Ice Hogs. Dr. Cregg has a wide variety of expertise in sports, ergonomics, general family practice and is recently certified in evidence-based concussion management through CCMI. He believes in a patient-centered treatment style that utilizes diversified adjusting techniques, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise prescription, education and lifestyle modification. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cregg loves to spend time with his two young sons Dawson and Carter and his dog Boomer. He has recently become obsessed with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and continues to pursue weekend warrior status as a golfer and hockey player.
