Dr Rick Shelton

Dr. Shelton is devoted to providing exceptional care to his patients. With a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from Logan University, he specializes in various techniques, including diversified/manual adjusting, Thompson drop table technique, instrument adjusting, rehabilitation protocols, and acupuncture-based meridian therapy. With an athletic background in baseball, Dr. Shelton has unique insights into shoulder rehabilitation, and has achieved great results with many athletes and their injuries. Originally from St. Louis, MO, Dr. Shelton is passionate about helping individuals achieve optimal health and wellness. He believes in personalized, evidence-based care and fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where every patient feels respected, heard, and valued. His treatment philosophy revolves around empowering patients to take control of their health and creating a relationship based on empathy and a deep respect for patients’ unique needs. In his free time, Dr. Shelton enjoys live music, golf, baseball, exploring New Orleans culture, walking his Golden Retriever mix, and tending to his houseplants!
