I got my first massage when I was 18 years old. I was impressed by how much it helped me and I wanted to help others the same way I was helped. My specialty is in Reparative and Restorative Medical Massage which helps to support the healing and recovery of muscle tissue by reducing muscle tension and tightness by helping to relax the muscle fibers, releasing knots and relieving stiffness or pain. It also helps to improve blood flow by increasing circulation which brings more oxygen and nutrients to the muscles which helps to repair damaged tissue and flush out toxins which build up during stress or injury. Also it helps to break down scar tissue by softening and realigning scar tissue which improves flexibility and range of motion. Lastly, it stimulates the lymphatic system which helps reduce swelling and inflammation in injured or overworked muscles as well as supports the nervous system's recovery by calming it down which can reduce stress, improve sleep and promote overall relaxation which is important for full muscle recovery.
