Samantha graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She has worked extensively with concussion clients, helping them get back to work, sports, and daily life. She previously led her former clinic’s WorkSafeBC Early Concussion Assessment and Treatment program, coordinating the treatment of clients with practitioners who are part of the interdisciplinary team. She is also experienced in treating ICBC and LTD clients. Her background in teaching a variety of educational topics has extended beyond the concussion treatment program to areas such as Long COVID and health optimization, taught within the company. Additionally, as a PoNS Certified Trainer, Sam has created targeted gait and balance programs for those with Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and Stroke. She works to optimize functional movement patterns that meet the needs of each client. Given her belief in the importance of treating clients with a holistic approach, Sam has also provided clients with tailored Neurofeedback programs to address not only physical functioning but also cognitive and psychosocial functioning. When not at work, Sam can most likely be found at the rink playing hockey as a goalie, hiking a mountain, or enjoying board games and a book at home.
