Hi! I am Priya, and I have been an RMT in BC since 2015. I was the 3rd place winner of the August 2014 Clinical Case Report Awards by the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of British Columbia (RMTBC). My article “Massage therapy and essential tremor: to abate the symptoms” has been published and can be viewed on RMTBC’s website (rmtbc.ca) I am very passionate about how the body heals itself and functions in the presence of diverse stressors. I strongly believe that supporting the body’s ability can restore strength and balance in areas of injury and pain. My philosophy is that we live to learn. Since becoming an RMT in BC, I have learned and continued my education in the courses listed below. Myofascial Release Rock Tape/Supportive taping for injuries Dermoneuromodulation The Science of Pain/The Biopsychosocial Model IASTM (Instrument Assisted Treatment) And recently, my continuing interest has been in the craniosacral system and visceral manipulation.

60-minute sessions are ideal for initial visits. If you would like a pregnancy pillow for a pregnancy massage, type it out in the notes section or contact us and we will have it available! Paraffin wax and taping are also available as an add-on if needed during treatment. Remember that adding paraffin wax or taping will need to be done within the 60-minute session, and we will not be adding additional time to allow for these add-ons.
