Dr. Patricia Galata has been in clinical practice as a Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider for the past 11 years, serving the greater Toronto area in a variety of multidisciplinary settings. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and her Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Diploma at McMaster University in 2013. Previously, Dr. Galata obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from York University. Whether through manual techniques such as soft tissue release and joint manipulation, acupuncture and other modalities, or education and rehabilitation exercise prescription, her goal with each patient interaction is to help decrease someone’s immediate discomfort as well as educate and rehabilitate them to prevent the reoccurrence of it. Dr. Galata enjoys treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions, such as knee strains, neck sprains, repetitive use injuries of the shoulder and wrist, as well as common nerve entrapments in the upper and lower limbs. She collaborates on her patients’ care with her colleagues in clinic and stays up to date with the best evidence based approaches to the clinical management of musculoskeletal conditions.
