Ella completed her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Ottawa U in 2009 and Master’s in Physical Therapy at UofT in 2011. While in Toronto, Ella worked at a Sports Medicine clinic as well as Holland Bloorview Children’s Rehab Hospital. In 2017, Ella moved to Peterborough with her husband to raise their family. She has advanced training and experience in acupuncture, dry needling, persistent pain, taping techniques, pelvic health related concerns (incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy, peri/post menopause, pessary fittings), and manual therapy. She completed her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2017 and is a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Going through two pregnancies and births, Ella has developed a passion for helping women through their pelvic health concerns. Her other passion lies in working with littles ones. She has advanced pediatric training and experience in gross motor development, sports injuries, developmental disorders, infant disorders, cerebral palsy, toe walking, persistent pain, and pediatric pelvic health. Away from the clinic, Ella can be found spending time outside with her family or running the streets and trails of Peterborough training for her next race.
