I was born in southern Illinois and raised in Mason County, Kentucky. After high school, I wanted to go into Accounting, but that wasn't the right choice for me. Instead I decided to enter the military and spent 4 years as a Combat Medic for the US Army, spending 3.5 years in Seoul, South Korea. Once my service was over, I still felt drawn to the medical field but I knew nursing wasn't where I was meant to be. So instead I turned to massage therapy, and I haven't looked back since. I graduated with my Associates Degree in Massage Therapy in 2010 from Gateway Technical and Community College. I spent 6.5 years with Massage Envy in Florence, and another 15 months with Massage Envy in Springhurst down in Louisville, discovering and fine-tuning my aptitude for deep pressure and deep tissue techniques, as well as becoming certified in Prenatal Massage and Hot Stone Massage. Two years ago, I started at A PEACEful Place with Linda, and it's been the best 2 years of my career thus far. My work with her has allowed me to quit the corporate scene and spend more time at home with my 3 children while still working despite our busy schedules. I absolutely LOVE my job.
