Lauren has been a physiotherapist since 2007. She was born and raised in Nova Scotia where she attended Acadia University for a Bachelor of Science in Biology before going on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Lauren has advanced training in several areas including manual therapy, vestibular rehab, TMJ, acupuncture and dry needling. Growing up Lauren was a competitive gymnast, soccer player and runner who was often injured and experienced firsthand how physiotherapy can help athletes reach their potential. She has worked with many high-level athletes but truly loves helping anyone get back to the activities they enjoy. While she enjoys working with sports injuries she has a special interest in treating chronic and complicated injuries with a combination of manual therapy, dry needling and specific targeted exercise. She prides herself on helping people return to the highest level of function no matter their age or activity level. When she is not at work you might find her chasing after her two little girls on foot, bicycle or skis
