As a Naturopathic Doctor, I help people find clarity and feel confident about the things that can improve their fertility and their chances of getting, and staying pregnant. The conventional health care system often leaves gaps in the assessment and treatment of infertility. My role on your health care team is to help fill those gaps, and to help you feel empowered with the information you need to make decisions about your healthcare. Over the last decade, Ive worked with thousands of patients to help identify concerns with respect to their fertility, run necessary lab testing, and create treatment plans to help them get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. I support individuals and couples at many different stages of their fertility journey. Whether you are just thinking about starting to try to conceive, or are deep in the trenches of working with a fertility clinic, I am here to help you get the answers you need to bring you to your ultimate goal of bringing your baby home. I have a clinical focus on improving egg and sperm quality, endometriosis, PCOS/PMOS, diminished ovarian reserve (DOR), premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), secondary infertility, and fertility after miscarriage or pregnancy loss. I also have a special interest in fertility preservation (egg freezing), pregnancy care, and postpartum support. As patients move through to the other side of their fertility journey, I also support them in navigating lifes next big hormonal shift - perimenopause. I have done additional clinical training in Perimenopause and Hormone Therapy prescribing, and am a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP). I know first hand how hard this journey can be. My personal experiences of navigating pregnancy loss, endometriosis, DOR and secondary infertility prior to successfully conceiving our 2nd baby through IVF have informed and shaped my practice and the compassionate care I strive to provide for my patients. Im so honoured to walk this path with you. I earned my doctorate degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I am also a graduate of the University of Guelph, where I earned my Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences. I am a member in good standing of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. When Im not wearing my ND-hat, I can be found adventuring through life with my husband and 2 little girls. I love a warm home cooked meal, a good kitchen dance party, and a perfectly brewed cup of pour-over coffee.
