Eric is an Acupuncturist licensed by the Maryland State Board of Acupuncture. He earned his Masters of Science in Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Sugar Grove, NC. Prior to his career in acupuncture, Eric earned his Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science and Sustainable Agriculture from Montreat College and a Masters of Business Administration from University of South Carolina. Eric has wide-ranging experience from horticultural therapy in mental health to systems analysis in the finance and utilities industries. Eric was introduced to acupuncture as a patient when he developed severe back and sciatic pain. As living proof of the effectiveness of acupuncture, he began personal studies followed by formal education and training to become the acupuncturist he is today. In practice, Eric treats a variety of conditions including neuropathy and pain, and has a particular interest in mental and emotional health. Eric uses a variety of modalities in his treatments, such as cupping, gua sha, moxabustion, and electroacupuncture to support healing and pain relief according to each person’s individual needs. When he is not in clinic, Eric enjoys spending time with his pets, gardening, making pottery and listening to music.
