Laurence is a Registered Physiotherapist and has always been in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). She is rostered as a pelvic health physiotherapist and is rostered in the controlled acts of Acupuncture & Dry needling. Laurence completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa, and then completed “External/Internal Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy” and “Pediatric Incontinence and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction” post-graduate training and certifications. When treating pediatric clients, Laurence prefers to use a neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT) approach for all global/motor developmental delays and other movement disorders. Laurence has her clients’ wellness and health at heart. She believes in treating every client in a unique and personalized way. Patient education is an important part of her treatment, as she firmly believes in giving her clients the best tools to understand and manage their health condition(s). Laurence also completed other post-graduate certifications such as: acupuncture, dry needling, Rost Therapy: Pelvic girdle pain the female athlete, osteoarthritis rehabilitation, and more…

The initial assessment includes a full health questionnaire, physical evaluation, a first treatment and education regarding outcomes of initial assessment. You can also expect to learn more about the prognosis, frequency of treatment necessary and other treatment options related to your condition. ***BOOKING 1 OR 2 (45 MIN) SUBSEQUENT VISITS, 2-3 WEEKS APART, IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALLOW YOU TO RESERVE YOUR PREFERRED DAYS/TIMES. THIS ALSO ENSURES CONTINUITY OF CARE. IF THE FUTURE APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT NEEDED, EITHER YOU OR YOUR PHYSIOTHERAPIST CAN CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE THEM.***
