Dr. Madeline Calandra is a native of Northern New York, turned Boston transplant, with a passion for women’s health and empowering all people to live happy healthful lives. She began her educational journey at Seton Hall University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her desire to understand the human body and how it adapts to injuries and stressors ultimately led her to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Northeast College of Health Sciences. During her clinical training, Maddy has treated a wide array of patients, from children to older adults, pregnant women, and athletes. She served the greater Buffalo community during her clinical rotations by treating students at the University at Buffalo and volunteering her time to treat roadside at several 5k, 15K, and marathon events. She is especially passionate about understanding the biomechanics of pregnancy and emphasizing intentional movement and wellness during this stage of life. Maddy’s treatment philosophy blends chiropractic techniques and rehabilitative exercise to support patients in living a pain-free life. She believes strongly in patient empowerment and strives to bring the highest level of patient-centered care to her clinical practice. Maddy has received advanced training in Active Release Technique (ART), Instrument Assisted and Manual Soft Tissue Manipulation, as well as Webster Technique for new and expecting moms. When she isn’t treating patients, she enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking, and exploring all that New England has to offer.
