Dr. Kathy has been a Chiropractic practitioner for 27 years, 24 years practicing in Georgetown. She graduated from University of Guelph in 1989 with a BSc. in Human Kinetics, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with her Doctor of Chiropractic in 1993, and then completed and achieved the distinction of a Post Graduate Clinical Sciences Fellowship in 1997. During her time in high school, university and chiropractic programs Dr. Kathy was an elite level distance runner and achieved many athletic distinctions; competed for Team Canada in Barcelona, Spain in 1989, and was inducted into the University of Guelph Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. Running is still a very important part of Dr. Kathy’s life today. Dr. Kathy has enjoyed working with many of the area’s recreational and elite athletes. Dr Kathy raised her two daughters Lindsay and Mackenzie in Georgetown. While growing up in Georgetown the girls were busy with many activities including dance, soccer, running, biking and skiing. Both Dr. Kathy and her girls continue to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. Dr. Kathy is an avid photographer with many awards of distinction from various local photography contests. She supports and promotes local sports with team sponsorship and through her informational lectures and articles for local clubs. Dr. Kathy coached a running team for children and youth in Georgetown for 7 years when her girls were growing up and has enjoyed watching many of these athletes participate at the University varsity level in various sports.
