Born in Summerside, PEI, Kris graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition and also in Kinesiology. He went on to earn his DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) in Toronto from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 2023. Chiropractic care comes in a number of forms and beliefs across the profession vary. Kris takes an evidence based approach to patient care, supporting, educating and reassuring patients while they are in pain. Assessment of patients typically involves range of motion assessment, assessment of painful movements or ADLs, palpation, orthopedic testing, and neurological assessment. Treatment consists of soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, joint manipulation, passive modalities, strengthening, and mobility. Kris treats a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, including but not limited to: Lumbar central stenosis, peripheral neuropathies, strains, sprains, TMJD, cervicogenic headaches, along with mechanical neck, mid-back and low back pain.
