Petar completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. Since graduating, he has focused his practice on working with high-performance athletes and individuals with complex musculoskeletal conditions. Petar has advanced training in manual therapy, the McKenzie Method, concussion management, and TMJ treatment. His competitive background in soccer and karate, along with his final internship at the Toronto FC Academy, has shaped his approach to elite-level sports rehabilitation and performance. Petar currently serves as Director of Rehabilitation & Physical Performance at Toronto United FC, where he leads player injury management, physical performance programming, and on-field rehabilitation, working closely with coaching and medical staff to optimize athlete health and performance. In the clinic, Petar treats orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan. He places a strong emphasis on patient education and collaborative goal-setting, believing that informed and engaged patients achieve better, longer-lasting outcomes. Relevant Certifications: 1.
