Originally from Antigonish, Kenny graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2006 with a BSc in Human Kinetics. Kenny then went on to Dalhousie University where he completed his MSc in Physiotherapy in 2009. Following graduation, Kenny moved to Ontario for three years where he gained clinical experience in a variety of settings. From private practice, to cardiac rehab, to long-term care, Kenny has a varied background which allows him to successfully treat a large variety of patients. In the fall of 2012, Kenny made the move back home to Nova Scotia. Kenny has done extensive continuing education in Acupuncture/dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, musculoskeletal rehab and concussion management. In 2016, Kenny successfully completed his Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy Exam and received his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Kenny has a passion for sports, and has been part of the medical staff for Hockey Nova Scotia, South Shore Mustangs Midget AAA Hockey Club and South Shore Lumberjacks. Kenny is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
