Jacqueline Bailey is a licensed, nationally board-certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the State of Washington. She earned her Doctoral and Master’s degree from the Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine where she was trained in Traditional Chinese, as well as Japanese style acupuncture. After completing her Master’s program, she volunteered with the Acupuncture Relief Project in Nepal, serving as a primary care practitioner in a fast-paced rural clinic treating a wide range of illnesses. During her doctoral studies Jacqueline placed her emphasis on high-risk pregnancy, completing intensive training with Claudia Citkovitz PhD, LAc in Labor and Delivery at NYU Langone where she learned how to be an active and supportive practitioner during pregnancy and labor. Jacqueline continues to pursue her passion for lifelong learning and Kampo herbal medicine though advanced studies, and is currently completing a two year post-graduate internship with Nigel Dawes. Prior to her involvement in Chinese Medicine, Jacqueline received a Bachelor’s of Science and Nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University. She has worked as a Registered Nurse for the last 22 years in various cardiac surgery and intensive care units. She is passionate about offering effective and accessible healthcare by combining her knowledge and skills using Eastern and Western treatment modalities.
Patients are treated by experienced SIEAM faculty, with students observing. Treatments include Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, and moxa therapies as needed.
