Sarah McGall is a physiotherapist with a strong background in sport, exercise, and athletic performance. Sarah was raised in Owen Sound, Ontario, where she developed a passion for hockey at a young age. Her love of sport and movement led her to Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, where she earned a scholarship and competed as a member of the NCAA Division I women’s hockey team. During her time at Lindenwood, Sarah completed two Bachelor of Science degrees in Exercise Science and Athletic Training in 2018, along with a minor in Strength and Conditioning. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2020. Drawing from her background as a high-performance athlete, Sarah has extensive experience working with teams and elite athletes. She understands the physical and mental demands involved in injury, rehabilitation, and return to sport, and she is passionate about helping individuals of all abilities return to the activities they enjoy. Sarah has worked with a diverse range of clients and strongly believes in the power of movement to support recovery, performance, and overall wellbeing. Her treatment approach emphasizes individualized, evidence-based care, with a focus on helping clients reduce pain, improve function, and achieve their rehabilitation and fitness goals. Sarah has pursued additional training in sports concussion management, anatomical acupuncture, and dry needling. She is dedicated to empowering her clients through education and providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to self-manage their conditions and take an active role in their health. Outside of the clinic, Sarah serves as the Head Physiotherapist/Athletic Therapist for the Soo Greyhounds OHL Hockey Club. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the trails of Sault Ste. Marie with her chocolate lab, Auggie, and getting out on the golf course. Sarah looks forward to working with clients of all activity levels to support recovery, movement, performance, and long-term wellbeing.
