MaryBeth is a national board-certified and licensed acupuncturist and herbalist who integrates Traditional Eastern Medicine with modern evidence-based practice to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from National University of Health Sciences and holds a BS in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. With over 20 years of experience as a certified personal trainer specializing in functional movement therapy, MaryBeth has supported individuals through a wide range of health concerns—from chronic pain and postural imbalances to stress, fatigue, and general wellness. Her diverse background allows her to approach each patient holistically, considering both internal patterns and movement imbalances to restore homeostasis and promote longevity. MaryBeth discovered the power of acupuncture through her own journey with chronic injury as a marathon runner. Experiencing firsthand how acupuncture can accelerate healing, reduce pain, and restore balance- physically and psychologically, inspired her to pursue Eastern Medicine at a deeper level and ultimately shaped her integrative, holistic style of care. She expanded her clinical skills through study in Korea, learning cosmetic acupuncture techniques as well as different ways to approach pain management and recovery. Dedicated to creating a supportive, healing environment, she helps patients reconnect with their bodies, reduce symptoms, and cultivate sustainable wellness. Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, embracing cultures and cuisine, cooking, and spending quality time with her loved ones and dog. Physical activity is a priority in her life, including running, biking, strength training and yoga.
