Sherry is a graduate with Honours, from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa. She is a Registered Acupuncturist. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology. She is deeply passionate about Chinese medicine, and integrates her knowledge of psychology in the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sherry’s treatment style is always tailored to an individual’s needs to provide a client- centered treatment. Her approach is centred in the understanding that emotions and physical health are intimately connected, believing that emotions impact the health of the body and vice versa. She strongly believes that the role of the practitioner is to act as a guide and facilitate healing that comes from within. Her treatments use a mixture of acupuncture, TuiNa, Guasha, Cupping, Moxibustion and ear acupuncture. Sherry has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal, digestive, gynaecological issues and emotional health challenges.
