Michael graduated from Everest College in 2008 for Registered Massage Therapy and has been practising in rehabilitation clinics for over nine years. Over the years he has specialized in treating sports injuries and has a lot of experience with runners specifically. Michael’s area of interest lie in focusing on deep tissue modalities, but he is still able to put people into a relaxed sleep with a deep but rhythmic technique. Michael has taken additional training in ART (Active Release Technique) for the muscles of the torso and neck, as well as in therapeutic hot stone massage. Hot stone massage utilizes heated stones to warm the tissue, before working into the muscle groups, as well as to soothe and relax the muscle after treatment.
