1938 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V6J 1Z2

James graduated with a BSc. in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to this, he completed a BSc. in Athletic and Rehabilitation Therapy at Athlone Institute of Technology, where he developed a strong foundation in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. Before relocating to Vancouver, James worked in a leading Sports Physiotherapy clinic in Dublin City alongside Sean, where he treated a wide range of clients. Their caseload included everyone from recreational athletes to elite-level performers across sports such as soccer, rugby, and Gaelic games. James brings a hands-on, individualized approach to physiotherapy, shaped by both his academic background and practical clinical experience. James has worked with professional football teams and senior GAA teams in Ireland, providing support in injury management, return-to-play programming, and performance support. These roles have given him valuable insight into the physical demands of sport and how to effectively guide athletes through injury and back to peak performance. His own experience with sports-related injuries inspired his path into physiotherapy and fuels his passion for helping others regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they enjoy. James is committed to working closely with each patient to develop tailored treatment plans that support both recovery and long-term health. Outside of the clinic, James is a passionate soccer player and enjoys staying active through strength training, outdoor adventures, and community sport.
