Go beyond treatment. A proactive approach to chiropractic care + therapy programming designed to help you build RESILIENCE in body + mind and access the lifestyle and activities you want. Hi, I’m Dr. Victoria West. In over 10 years of formal training and practicing as a chiropractor, I’ve never seen manual adjustments fix people’s problems long term. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to help you become RESILIENT so you have the knowledge and tools you need to make incredible changes in your life. I believe human beings are designed to be adaptable, and you have the power to adjust your sail at any moment. But you don’t have to do it alone. When you have someone by your side, someone who is invested in motivating you and empowering you to reach your goals—whatever they may be—anything is possible. Building a career around solely treating patients with manual therapies was never enough for me. As a chiropractor, I’m here to guide you in taking a proactive role in your health and happiness. I do this through providing - yes- hands-on therapy, such as chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, acupuncture and Dolphin Microcurrent. But most importantly, I do it by educating you and helping you become more aware of your body and the way it operates so you can find the answers for yourself. Sometimes, it’s hard to see the big picture when you’re immersed in the challenges of the day-to-day. But my practice was built upon a vision for achieving long-term results, not short-term remedies. Resilience is not accomplished through the traditional rehabilitative process. Building resilience involves looking at the body and mind as a whole, not just addressing symptoms of pain, stiffness, or functional limitations. It means understanding how stress impacts your body and mind, and training yourself to adapt and become more resilient to that stress. This isn’t just about exercise; it’s about the ability to move well for the rest of your life. Our programs are designed to meet you where you are. We’ll create a Resilience Program that is as exciting as it is attainable – one that fits in with your busy family life, chaotic work schedule and goals for movement and activity. There’s no limit to what you can achieve through movement and resilience practices. It’s possible to make massive changes in your life. I know because I’ve experienced it for myself. The reason I am here, doing what I do despite the hardships I have faced, is because I’ve learned to adapt. Every big change consists of hundreds of smaller changes. It starts with the way you walk, the way you sit in your chair, the way you move and breathe throughout the day. Suddenly, it transpires into the way you work, the way you connect with others, and the relationship you have with yourself. This is the ripple effect. Are you ready to become more resilient?
