Dr. Juliana Mannella is a board certified Naturopathic Doctor in British Columbia. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Simon Fraser University before pursuing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Mannella is passionate about collaborative healthcare and values creating a space where patients feel heard, understood, and are actively involved in their health journey. She uses evidenced-based medicine to identify and address the root cause of illness while developing individualized treatment plans aimed at creating improvements in health, rather than simply managing symptoms. Her clinical approach includes a combination of diagnostic testing, lifestyle counseling, nutritional intervention, herbal and nutraceutical supplementation, and, when appropriate, pharmaceuticals, injection therapies, and IV treatments. Dr. Mannella provides primary health care for a wide variety of clinical concerns including men’s and women’s hormonal health, stress-related illness such as adrenal dysfunction and burnout, digestive disorders, chronic disease, autoimmune conditions, and gynecological concerns. She has a particular interest in addressing skin conditions and women’s health, though welcomes patients with all health concerns. Outside of the clinic, Juliana enjoys staying active with her dog, playing soccer with longtime teammates, and spending time within her community. As a Burnaby Heights local, she values being connected to the neighbourhood she grew up in and is excited to support patients in building sustainable, long-term health.
