She began her studies in Health Sciences at Algonquin College, followed by three years of Athletic Therapy, becoming an Reiki Master and graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy as an RMT in 2015. Emily later completed her diploma as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Emily's approach goes beyond just addressing symptoms. She believes in building meaningful connections with her clients, taking the time to understand their stories, lifestyles, and the root causes of their discomfort. By starting each treatment with a thorough assessment of posture and movement patterns, Emily customizes her techniques to address the body’s specific needs as they evolve. No two treatments are the same, as she blends deep tissue massage, cranial sacral therapy, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, cupping, and energy work to provide holistic & active care. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from professional athletes to individuals recovering from injuries or managing chronic pain. Her intuitive and adaptable approach also supports those dealing with stress, anxiety, and trauma, combining physical therapy with energy healing for deep, lasting relief. Outside of her practice, Emily’s been a dancer for over 20 years and also enjoys hiking, running, martial arts, fitness training & pickleball. An avid traveler and animal lover, she spends her downtime exploring new adventures or with her rescue dog, Ella.
A Massage therapy treatment is designed to meet your individual needs, whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, tension release, on going injury or you just need a tune up. Each session is a personalized experience tailored to your body’s unique requirements. During your treatment it is possible that the therapist will have you in different positions on the table to apply different modalities. This form of treatment can be more interactive for feedback and re assessment throughout. Please bring active wear just in case (short shorts, sports bra...). Before your treatment begins, we’ll discuss any areas of concern, injuries, or goals you may have, ensuring a treatment plan that addresses your wellbeing and preferences. During the session, a variety of modalities may be used from Swedish massage techniques, cupping, Myofascial Release Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy... depending on what your body needs at that moment.
