Dr. Ashlyn McColl is a born and raised Calgarian who developed a passion for sports at a young age. Her years of competitive dancing sparked an interest in human movement and injury recovery. It was in her sports medicine classes in high school where she discovered her love of treating athletes and the numerous benefits of chiropractic care. This continued well through her undergrad at the University of Calgary and further to her completion of her chiropractic education at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Family and the sunshine brought her back to Cochrane in 2019. Dr. Ashlyn is trained in diversified and tool assisted adjusting as well as many soft tissue techniques including medical acupuncture. She remains fervently committed to expanding her expertise and enhancing patient care. In her practice, Dr. Ashlyn focuses on sports rehabilitation, pregnancy and post-natal care, headache treatment, neuromuscular rehabilitation and soft tissue treatments, all while tailoring her approach to each patient's unique needs. Outside of work, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, discovering new restaurants, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Most of her favourite moments are spent with her husband, son, and their giant dog. She loves to try new things, staying active, and making the most of time with her family.
