Jessica graduated from Mohawk College’s Massage Therapy Program in August of 2017, and she was registered the following February. Since February of 2018 Jessica has been a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Jessica is committed to continuing to learn new techniques and expand her knowledge within her field to ensure she offers the best care for her clients. Jessica primarily uses General Swedish Massage techniques but is also well versed in ultrasound therapy and cupping therapy. Ultrasound Therapy can be beneficial for relieving pain, increasing blood flow, decreasing swelling and inflammation, and it helps promote tissue healing. Cupping therapy can be beneficial for many ailments including but not limited to scar healing, plantar fasciitis, sciatica and decreasing muscle tension. Jessica loves to work with people from all walks of life and at all different stages of their lives. But she has always had an underlying love for the prenatal and postpartum chapters of life. Shortly after finishing school, Jess took the courses to become a birthing and postpartum doula, but discovered that was not the ideal way for her personally to pursue this branch of passion. However, Jess loves using this knowledge to help guide any of her clients through this new adventure in their lives. Jessica is hoping to grow her own family one day soon, but for now she enjoys spending time with her husband, three cats (Neville, Luna and Penelope) and their families, especially her nieces and nephew. During her time off Jess has a wide range of interests from trail walks, reading, playing games to watching movies, cooking and baking.
