Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, navigating pregnancy or postpartum, or simply looking to move and feel better in your body, Shannon works alongside you to help you reach your goals. Her treatments combine skilled hands-on massage therapy with movement re-patterning to reduce pain, restore mobility, release tension, and improve overall function. Shannon believes that effective treatment doesn't have to be painful. She works with the minimum amount of discomfort necessary, using clear communication and patient education to ensure each treatment is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. Committed to lifelong learning, Shannon has completed advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy (Upledger Institute), Visceral Manipulation and Neural Manipulation (Barral Institute), Breathwork(NUMA) and Pediatric Cranial Sacral Therapy. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring each treatment to the unique needs of the individual. Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Shannon spent more than 30 years as a professional classical ballet and contemporary dance artist, teacher, and choreographer, performing throughout Canada, Europe, and Brazil. Movement has always been at the heart of her life. Through both her dance career and her experience raising two children, she has developed a deep appreciation for the incredible resilience of the human body—as well as the challenges that come with injury, pain, recovery, and change. These personal and professional experiences allow Shannon to connect with people from all walks of life, from new parents and children to dancers, athletes, and those recovering from orthopaedic injuries. She is passionate about helping people move with greater ease, reconnect with their bodies, and return to the activities that bring them joy.
