Shannon enjoys working with a wide variety of massage techniques to decrease pain, restore range of motion and reduce tension within the body. Her approach to treatment is to work with the minimum amount of discomfort to the patient, while ensuring a safe and effective treatment that is both relaxing and therapeutic through clear communication and patient education. Throughout her career in dance and being a mother of two small humans, she has experienced a broad spectrum of injuries and has dealt with many types of pain, allowing her to relate to new mothers and professional athletes alike. It is those experiences that have led her to become a RMT with a strong interest in treating pre/post natal, children, orthopaedic and sport related injuries.
