Miranda is a new resident of Tsawwassen and excited to transition her practice into the community. She graduated with honours from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, following her post-secondary education at UBC. She lived and practiced in Vancouver prior to moving to Tsawwassen in the spring of 2022. Miranda’s passion is to use massage to improve client quality of life well beyond the time in the treatment room. This includes chronic pain reduction, postural and range of motion improvement, rehabilitation of function, along with focused relaxation for individual wellness. She is experienced in treating neck tension and headaches, recurrent low-back and hip pain, stiff back and shoulders, chronic pain syndromes, and pre-natal massage. Miranda also has experience treating clients with acute pain from muscle strains or spasms and motor vehicle accidents. Her techniques are outcome-oriented and may include: hot stone massage, myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish massage, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy, among a portfolio of others. Her dedication begins with a focused assessment to determine client-specific goals, current pain and any existing limitations. Treatments are always followed with homecare plans that maximize rehabilitation, relaxation, and function. Whether it is the strain of a work environment or the tension carried in the pandemic, she will create a therapy plan to empower her clients to meet their needs.
